Paul Ricci and the Epstein Files

The Epstein files are like our generation’s Pentagon Papers. One can go to the Department of Justice’s website to query the files. Donald Trump’s name appears in 1,747 documents in the database. Jon Stewart, in the video above, explained how his name appears in the files. Out of curiosity I entered the name Paul Ricci into the Epstein files database. To my surprise, the name did appear on one document.

The document where Paul Ricci appears is a 7-page pdf of an email written by Gregory Brown. He was chairman and CEO of Global Cast Partners LLC. The recipients are redacted but Epstein must be one of them. The subject of the email is “Greg Brown’s Weekend Reading and Other Things…. 10/14/12.” It is a hodgepodge of Brown’s thoughts on a variety of events such as the 2012 election between Obama and Romney.

The passage where Paul Ricci appears discusses how patents stifle competition and innovation. Ricci was chief executive of Nuance. This is a company that produces voice recognition software. Ricci sued a rival voice recognition company for patent infringement. He lost the lawsuit but the cost of it forced the rival to sell their company to him. His company was bought out by Microsoft. He is now CEO of Luminar Technologies.

I do not know this Paul Ricci, I am not related to him, and I am not accusing him of anything illegal. He would probably sue me if I did. The document does not allege anything salacious about him or anyone else. These millions of documents do give insight into what global elites say to each other and do for each other.

Local Relevance

What does this have to do with the Alleghenies? You can go to the database and see if your name appears. I looked up local millionaire names like Jeffrey Yass and their names do not appear. The word Allegheny appears in 31 documents. Most of these documents revolve around Allegheny County. The word Johnstown appears in 15 documents. I will look at these documents in a subsequent post. I do sympathize with Epstein’s victims and hope that they receive justice.
