Podcamp was a social media conference in several cities including Pittsburgh. When I went to it in 2010, I was inspired to start blogging with my old blog CSI without Dead Bodies and continue with the current one. One of the speakers at the conference who inspired me was David DeAngelo of 2 Political Junkies.
We spoke this evening about the history of his blog. It started in 2004 with his partner Maria Lupinacci. In the early days, they were critiquing local conservative pundit Fred Honsberger. Later they moved on to local columnist Jack Kelly, to radio shock jocks Quinn and Rose, and to WTAE News Anchor turned right wing pundit Wendy Bell.
