Ken Burns posted the video below to announce that WPSU TV and radio, alocal public media outlet, is acquired by WHYY in Philadelphia.
We are a small outlet with support from the Leveller Foundation. We primarily cover events around Johnstown because, like other rural nonprofit media outlets, we have a skeleton staff: a board and a few contributors. Eventually, we hope to expand our coverage to fill the void left by shrinking newsrooms but we can’t do it without you. At the top of this post is a fundraising appeal to support our work.
