I am here at the Cambria County Arts and Heritage Festival covering the event. I am also here selling my book Wuthering Depths in Johnstown: By the Numbers. The event has Civil War reenactors, Medieval reenactors, an antique car show, carriage rides, food, and vendors galore. The above video is an interview with Confederate reenactors. I was placed in a pavilion with paranormal investigators to try to sell my book. My book is thoroughly researched and is not paranormal. I hope it still sells. Below is a talk by a paranormal/Qanon kook, Philip Liptak (he was nice enough to buy a book though). He spewed lots of theories about Trump, Biden, how evil vaccines are (which make him very dangerous), and the Bible.
There were many other vendors and speakers there. There was a woodcarver who did a carving of the American flag with a bullet for each of the 50 states. Both political parties had booths there. The Franciscan Friars from St. Francis University were there. There were people there creating a museum for the history of Nanty Glo. Below is a sample of some of the vendors, including the one with the bullet flag, at the festival yesterday. Of course there were food vendors with funnel cakes and ribs. I couldn’t make it to the second day so I will be covering the Johnstown Rally for Reproductive Rights for Allegheny Independent Media.
