It has been one week since the Netroots Nation Conference. I wouldn’t have gone if it weren’t in Pittsburgh. I was hoping to meet more famous names. I did get to meet Rep. Ilhan Omar D-Mn. There were many good professional political operatives there. Her keynote address is below.

I did get two interviews with players in Pennsylvania politics (Veronica Coptis and Kadida Kenner). I was a little too shy to get more. I was disappointed that there were not more local activists there. The price of the conference was high. It will be in Chicago next year. I doubt that I can go but who knows.

There were individuals there selling there wares such as software and consulting services for attendees. I met some data professionals such as Generation Data. Media outlets there included Free Speech TV, the Rick Smith Show, and KPFT radio (Pacifica Radio‘s Houston Affiliate).
